My dance is an ancient art called Bharatanatyam that originated in South India, my place of birth and the home to my culture. I have been and am training under Smt. Sudha Dhamodharan, a spectacular dancer and teacher. Bharatanatyam is an art I dearly love and enjoy, and it teaches me all of life’s lessons: dedication, sacrifice, and philosophy.
